۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
