The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
