۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
