Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose! 36 Or have you a Book in which you read 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm. 45 Or do you ask from them a reward, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 Be patient thou, then, with thy Lord's judgment, and be thou not like him of the fish, when he cried out while he was in anguish. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 But his Lord exalted him, and included him among His righteous servants. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
