I do not need to swear by what you see 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
