Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So by oath of the things you see. 38 And what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
