Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "None can protect me from Allah's punishment (if I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him. 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 (They shall not change their ways) until they see that against which they had been warned, and then they will know whose helpers are weaker and whose supporters are fewer in number. 24 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I know not whether (the punishment) which you are promised is near or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. 25 He is the knower of the Unknown, and He does not divulge His secret to any one 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 So that He may know if they have delivered their Lord's messages. He comprehends all that has been given them, and keeps count of everything. 28
