Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)." 20 Say: “Surely neither it is in my power to hurt you nor to bring you to the Right Way.” 21 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. 22 Unless I convey from God and deliver His message." For those who disobey God and His Apostle is the fire of Hell, where they will abide for ever; 23 Till (the day) when they shall behold that which they are promised (they may doubt); but then they will know (for certain) who is weaker in allies and less in multitude. 24 Say: I do not know whether that with which you are threatened be nigh or whether my Lord will appoint for it a term: 25 He knows the unseen and He does not allow anyone to know His secrets except those of His Messengers whom He chooses. 26 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
