You will not attain piety until you expend of what you love; and whatever thing you expend, God knows of it. 92 ۞ All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel made unlawful for himself before the Taurat (Torah) was revealed. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Bring here the Taurat (Torah) and recite it, if you are truthful." 93 Those who falsely fix lies upon Allah despite this are the wrong-doers. 94 Say: 'God has spoken the truth; therefore follow the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith and no idolater.' 95 The first house (of worship) that God assigned to men was in Bakka (another name of Mecca). It is a blessed one and a guide for all people. 96 Wherein are plain memorials (of Allah's guidance); the place where Abraham stood up to pray; and whosoever entereth it is safe. And pilgrimage to the House is a duty unto Allah for mankind, for him who can find a way thither. As for him who disbelieveth, (let him know that) lo! Allah is Independent of (all) creatures. 97 Say: "O people of the Book, why do you reject the word of God when God is a witness to all that you do?" 98 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “O People given the Book(s)! Why do you prevent those who have accepted faith from the way of Allah, seeking to cause deviation in it, whereas you yourselves are witnesses to it? And Allah is not unaware of your deeds!” 99 O you who have attained to faith! If you pay heed to some of those to whom revelation was vouchsafed aforetime, they might cause you to renounce the truth after you have come to believe [in it]. 100 And how can you disbelieve? To you are being recited the messages of God, and His prophet is among you. And whosoever holds fast to God shall verily be guided to the path that is straight. 101
