No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
