Nay, and by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 From the guilty. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
