Nay! By the moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
