Nay, by the Moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About the guilty: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
