▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
