۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
