Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 asking [derisively,] "When is that Resurrection Day to be?" 6 But when sight is confounded 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And sun and moon are united, 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. 12 On that Day will man be apprised of his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 13 Indeed, man shall be a witness against himself, 14 Although he tender his excuses. 15 MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:] 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 That day will faces be resplendent, 22 Looking at their Lord (Allah); 23 Others will be despondent, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 at that time towards thy Sustainer does he feel impelled to turn! 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
