VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So submit patiently to thy Lord's command, and obey not of them any guilty one or disbeliever. 24 And celebrate the name of thy Lord morning and evening, 25 And during the night - worship Him; and hallow Him the livelong night. 26 As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard. 27 We created them, and We strengthened their joints; and, when We will, We shall exchange their likes. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
