Al-Insan 2 of 2
Truly, it is We who have revealed to you the Quran, a gradual revelation. 23 Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them. 24 and bear in mind thy Sustainer's name at morn and evening 25 and part of the night; bow down before Him and magnify Him through the long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you will not desire except as God wills. Verily He is all-knowing and all-wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
