Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
