Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 storming tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
