In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
