Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 until an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
