Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
