Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
