Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a known extent. 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
