Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 separating one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
