Indeed the place of success is for the pious. 31 gardens and vineyards, 32 and splendid companions well matched, 33 and overflowing cups. 34 No empty talk will they hear in that [paradise,] nor any lie. 35 A reward from your Lord – a grossly sufficient bestowal. 36 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He is the Beneficent God and no one will be able to address Him. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That is the true day; so whosoever wills takes unto his Lord a resort. 39 Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust! 40
