The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And by those who float in space, 3 By the angels hastening, 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 then he mustered 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 you pay attention 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
