[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
