What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
