Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
