What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
