Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
