The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
