Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
