The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 for what crime she was slain, 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and brightening morning, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
