The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 And when the stars shall dart down, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 where then are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
