Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
