Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
