Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
