Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
