And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?" 11 He said: my Lord! verily I fear they shall belie me. 12 and my chest will become constricted and my tongue will not be loosed (in my speech), therefore, send to Aaron. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 Moses continued, "He is the Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 Said he: "Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
