Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
