Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
