Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 Who know what you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
