Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 watching over you 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 to burn therein. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
