The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
