The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 What could let you know what the nightly comer is! 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 And it is no joke. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
