The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
