The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
