The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
